The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) is soliciting applications for a contract worker with the following minimum qualifications:  Master’s Degree or higher with current administrative certification, served as a successful Superintendent in a high performing district with at least 4 years of experience, successful related experience at the central office level and/or building level administration, experience in working with diversified stakeholder groups to implement large scale projects and initiatives. 

The deadline for receiving the application packet is Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. Central Standard Time.  Copies of all questions submitted and the responses will be posted to MDE’s website www.mde.k12.ms.us under the Public Notices section and will be available to the general public on Friday, March 24, 2017.

The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) is soliciting proposals for the purpose of providing professional development according to the Orton-Gillingham methodology for reading, writing and spelling interventions. 

The deadline for submitting written questions via email is Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m..  Copies of all questions submitted and the responses will be posted to MDE’s website www.mdek12.org under the Public Notices section and will be available to the general public on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
